MIKE BARKER
Owner and Operator

With over 30 years of experience and industry knowledge as a plumber and gasfitter, Mike founded the family business, Barkers Plumbing & Gas, in December 2020.

As a young Howick lad, he served his apprenticeship with a local plumbing business, before moving to a larger company working Auckland-wide for over 17 years.

During this time, Mike gained valuable insight and knowledge whilst upskilling at every opportunity.

Mike Barker is a registered Certifying Plumber & Gasfitter with an Electrical Serviceperson Licence, and is an Independently Qualified Person (IQP) Backflow Tester and Installer.

Mike and his wife, Alison, live in East Tamaki Heights with their boys, and two dogs - Bailey and Pepper.

When he's not busy repairing or installing something to do with plumbing, Mike enjoys spending time with his family.
